Iced Pour Over

  • DOSE: 25g
  • GRIND: Medium Fine
  • ICE: 150g
  • WATER: 225g / 205°F
  • TIME: 3 minutes

Note: With an iced pour over, use a slightly finer grind compared to a hot pour over. This will allow you to extract more, while also slowing down the brew to hit the ideal time.

  1. To brew over ice, we're going to split our usual water weight with ice - 40% ice and 60% water. This style of brewing can be done with any brewer, so adjust your methods accordingly!
  2. Place filter inside brewer, rinse filter, and discard water.
  3. Fill a carafe with 150g of ice and place brewer atop the carafe. Add your ground coffee to brewer, place everything on a scale, and tare scale.
  4. Begin timer. Bloom your coffee with 80g of water for 50 seconds.
  5. Pour all 225g of water into your brewer, same as you would with a hot pour over.
  6. Swirl final brew to ensure all ice is melted and serve over fresh ice!
