Iced Pour Over
- DOSE: 25g
- GRIND: Medium Fine
- ICE: 150g
- WATER: 225g / 205°F
- TIME: 3 minutes
Note: With an iced pour over, use a slightly finer grind compared to a hot pour over. This will allow you to extract more, while also slowing down the brew to hit the ideal time.
- To brew over ice, we're going to split our usual water weight with ice - 40% ice and 60% water. This style of brewing can be done with any brewer, so adjust your methods accordingly!
- Place filter inside brewer, rinse filter, and discard water.
- Fill a carafe with 150g of ice and place brewer atop the carafe. Add your ground coffee to brewer, place everything on a scale, and tare scale.
- Begin timer. Bloom your coffee with 80g of water for 50 seconds.
- Pour all 225g of water into your brewer, same as you would with a hot pour over.
- Swirl final brew to ensure all ice is melted and serve over fresh ice!
