Hario V60

  • DOSE: 22g
  • GRIND: Medium
  • WATER: 375g / 205°F
  • TIME: 2.5 minutes
  1. Fold the seam on your Hario #2 filter and place it in the brewer. Rinse filter and discard water.
  2. Add coffee to the v60 and place atop mug or carafe. Place everything on your scale, tare scale, and begin timer.
  3. Bloom with 60g of water. Stir the slurry or swirl the brewer to ensure water comes into contact with all coffee.
  4. At 40 seconds, begin the fill pour with steady, concentric circles. Start from the center, slowly spiral out to the edge, and then back to the center. Repeat this method for the entire brew.
  5. Finish pouring all 375g of water around 1:40. Give the brewer a gentle swirl and allow the rest of the water to pass through the brew bed.
